Hi good lads and gals, I am looking for some good long mangas! Without ado, here’s what I want in those, and what I don’t want! _ Mangas with those characteristics counts as those I want! _ It needs to be long, preferably ongoing/publishing title (long means 100~200+)[note - if it's a very good manga, but shorter than that, but you just have to mention it, do it. I'd love to read some good titles]; It needs to be good (as in GOOD good, not just meh good); It needs to have romance, but not necessarily; I am getting short on new survivals to read, so if you have any, throw those on the stack [any]; _ It can be/contain: _ Shoujo, but I’m more into Survivals, Shounens, and Seinens; Mature content; Gore; Horror’ish; Criminal; School life; Old (Kochikame-old); Comedy(examples of a good comedy: Kochikame, Gintama, Dansei Koukousei no Nichijou); Harem; In-game setting, as in like: .hack/series, 1/2 Prince, Accel World, Sword Art Online etc. Martial Arts; Catastrophic; Sci-Fi; Drama; Psychological(like: Serial Experiments Lain, Shinreigari: Ghost Hound, etc); Vampires(note: not like vampire knight guilty and blood-c. no thanks. More like Blood+, Dance in the Vampire Bund or Hellsing, now, hell yes!); Mystery; _ I seriously don’t want: _ Big boobs – NO (HOtD is a good example: if not it being a survival, I wouldn’t touch it); Too much ecchi; Cliché main hero (as in: a hero who is tossed around by everyone and everything, is called “hentai” by the first heroine to appear in the first five panels, looks like he could be blown away by the slightest wind gust, and in anime have child’s voice, even if he’s 17. Keitarou doesn’t count here. He’ll always be my hero); Yuri/Yaoi; Too much smuts and no; Sports (I am getting tired too fast); Too much psychological (I like psychological mangas, but some just missed the point of being psychological and went being just wacko); Fantasy; _ Too big? Why so big list of what-wants? It’s hard to find good manga, if you’re picky person, really. Here’s what I read/am reading that matches those wants:

    Dragon Ball; Kochikame; Hyouryuu Kyoushitsu; Video Girl Ai; Densetsu Angel; Recca no Honoo; DNA²; GTO; Ranma ½; Eden: It’s an Endless World!; Vagabond; Detective Conan; One Piece; HunterxHunter; Gintama; Naruto; Bleach; Hellsing; Gantz; Chobits; .hack/all; Death Note; Elfen Lied; Groove Adventure Rave; Fairy Tail; Eden no Ori; Meteor; Byousoku 15 centimeter; I am a Hero; Kanojo wo Mamoru 51 no Houhou; Kekkaishi; La Corda d’Oro; Lone Wolf and Cub; Love Hina; Metro Survive; NHK ni Youkoso!; Wolf Guy: Ookami no Monshou Accel World; Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen; A Spirit of the Sun; Bloody Monday; Bloody Junkie; Code:Breaker; Corpse Party: Blood Covered; EX – Shounen Hyouryuu; Jisatsutou; Kangoku Gakuen; Let’s Lagoon; Corpse Party series; Aphorism; Akumetsu; The Breaker; Suzuka; Enigma; 7Seeds; Another; Apocalypse no Toride; Deadman Wonderland; Higanjima; Hohzuki Island; Homunculus; Ikigami; Nae ga Yuru; Planetes; Survival; Tokyo Girls Destruction; Toradora!; Zero no Tsukaima;

It would take far too long time to describe every one of those, but, if you’re looking for something, that matches my “I-wants” then I recommend all of those. Grab, and enjoy.

And now, it’s up to you, random internet folks, to help me out here. I am running in circles (literally and mentally); I even won’t lie that I have free time off work, because even when I am writing this I am working, though, I lost inspiration, and I just need to read something good. So please, random internet folks, help me: you’re my only hope. This, or TV, and I seriously don’t want to watch hentais at 5 in the morning.

I can’t seem to figure this out. I have read my text book over a million times and I don’t get why.

why must medical coders reference both the Alphabetic Index and the Tabular List in the ICD-10-CM?

I’m currently in a coding class and have to right a report on hints and tips to coding. I’ve been researching and am having trouble finding anything other than salary, school, job outlook etc. For those of you who are coders what are some things you do to make your job easier in regard to ICD-9 or CPT coding?

I want to be a medical coder. There is a program at a community college for a medical coding specialist diploma. I know I would have to take one of those exams to be a CPC. But some employers won’t hire candidates unless they have two years of experience.

How can I get experience after being certified? I know this field is kind of hard to get into without experience. There are a few hospitals and clinics not far from where I live So would I have to do some volunteering? Once I am certified, what can I do to gain experience?

    Hello,

I am interested in becoming a medical coder.I work in the medical field and know I do not want to be a nurse so I am currently in a Bachelor’s program for business administration with a minor in organizational management. But I would like to start working in medical billing. My current community college has a certificate program and I would only need to take three classes as I already have the rest, it is also cost effective. For any coders, what would be my best option for employment? Also ANY comments or advice on the field is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am a trained medical transcriptionist. I am planning to get trained in medical billing and coding and I am checking for the scope in the middle east. Can anyone help me out with this. I heard from my relatives who are already there (UAE) and they told me that there is only few hospitals that provide this job and only one coder is required in one hospital. So, I am in a bit confused state. Please help me with a proper details and a good decision to be made.

    Thanks…

I am currently enrolled in the medical record coder class at my school. I must say I am a bit confused as to the progress of this? Once I finish up the classes from the school which I won’t have an associates, It will be i guess a certificate from the school. To become a professional certified coder do I take the Certified Professional Coder Program once I graduate or do I have to get an associates degree? Just needing help with what the steps are. Any help?

I am thinking about going through Penn Foster Career School from home for their medical coder/biller program. I am wondering if anybody has done this and if you were able to find a job right away? I dont’ want to pay for the program and not be able to find a job. Is this a good way to learn this? I really can’t find any other way, they all want experience, I haven’t been able to find any entry-level jobs. Thanks!

I recently got certified as a medical biller and coder but I’m having a hard time finding a job. My main hurdle is they are saying I don’t have experience. Yet, how do you get experience if you can’t get your foot through the door

I’m thinking of going back to school to go into the medical field because I know those are the jobs that are probably the most secure in this tough economy. I know that I’m not a really compassionate person so I know I wouldn’t be very good with patients so I was wondering if a medical biller/coder is a job that would probably be for me. How much do they make? How long do you have to go to school for this? Thanks for your help.

I will be going to school soon for Health Information Management and was considering coding and informatics as career options. I also plan on moving to Canada in around 5 yrs. Are coders in demand in Canada? Also is there any type of exam i would have to take to be able to work there?

I will be starting a Medical Coding and Transcription course this fall. I am concerned how, if at all, Obamacare might change the outlook for this profession. Will job openings become less and less? Will it remain the same? Can an experienced coder please share their opinion?

I saw online before that Certified Professional Coders get paid better than a medical coding and billing specialist, and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could make the transition.

I am thinking about taking some medical coding courses and possibly being a medical coder but I am also thinking about being a medical secretary. I know secretaries should have some coding knowledge, so I thought I could become a certified medical coder. I want to be able to do either profession depending on job opportunities.

I’m going to attend Branford Hall Career Institute, where they say they helped create an exam to be a certified coder. Is this true? Will my education qualify to take this exam? Will my externship, education and certification solidify my chances to get a job in this field?
