I know the general idea, but more specifically, how do armor saves work when in a unit there are models with different armor saves? For example the Eldar Howling Banshee squad has an armor save of 4+, but when upgraded with an Exarch, the Exarch has an armor save of 3+. How would I resolve armor saves in this case? Thanks.

I see in the player handbook that leather armor costs 25 gp, but I dont know if that applies to all armor components, or just a certain section. Help please!

During the civil war, how new was the idea of using armor plating? I just finished reading a book about the Civil War, and it brought it up, but I was wondering how long it had been around. Was the idea completely novel, or had it already been used in other contexts prior to armor plating on boats?

I have dawnguard now if that helps. But the only new thing i saw on smithing was advanced armors on the light armor side of the skill “tree”. Or do I just keep getting higher in skill to improve it at any time?

What is the difference between survivor griffin iPhone 4 case and survivor armored iPhone 4 case? My niece wanted a specific color griffin case but I can only find that color in a box that says armored and doesnt say anything about griffin even though it looks like one. There even the same price. Is there a substantial difference?

I want to get a functional suit of armor (for various reasons).

As you may know, suits of armor are incredibly expensive especially if they are wearable.

I notice there are many different suits with different gauges of steel.

I want the armor to absolutely be as strong as possible, I want to be able to hit it with the claw of a hammer and have the armor be untouched.

    What is the best gauge?

I’m new to modding and PC gaming in general and was wondering if there were any mods that replaced the vanilla clothes and armors. I’ve just never liked them and felt they didn’t represent the game as best and realistic as I’d have made it. If not, is there a way to replace the in game clothes and armors through modding for myself? I’d probably make a mess of it, but it would be worth a try to get myself started modding. I’m looking for a more Game of Thrones kind of feel when it comes to the look and tone. Like they’re actually trying to fight the cold of Skyrim, not running around in topless fur ensembles.

I’m writing a story, and need to know if an armor piercing rifle bullet would be less effective against an unprotected human target than the standard NATO round, and if so, how much?

Would the bullet travel straight through the body, therefore doing less damage, as opposed to a NATO round which would tumble in the target? Or am I mistaken?

I am by no means a gun expert, so sorry if the question is retarded or not well asked.

These armor plates were grayish brown on most of the back with pink on the sides. The bug had 6 legs and something like a “foot” to move its hind quarters. It moved more like a slow beetle than a caterpillar and when I dug it up it curled into a loose C shape, the plates make it less flexible than caterpillars or grubs. I found it in a flat that just had leftover soil from some seedlings I planted a few days before. I was digging around to remove bugs so I could bring it in the house and plant more seeds and I found that, first I thought grub, then caterpillar, then beetle.. not sure.. also it was about an inch long and 1/4″ wide and its back was flat.

Okay, I’ve seen special forces armor and it look pretty lightweight with loadbearing harnesses and places to put weapons and ammunition. But, I did notice that it left a bit of the users back exposed. I know the Taliban can’t shoot for shit, but sooner or later there might be one who could and the any place under the arm or any place left open on the armor would take him/her down. But, I think it’s lightweight enough to allow Special forces soldiers to move with mobility and deadliness. The IOTV, from experience covered up the gaps that special forces armor left behind. Everything comparable to armor No.1 but it was a bit heavier. Is there a viable difference between the 2 armors? Does one offer more protection at the cost of mobility? Or does one offer more mobility at the cost of protection? Since it is special forces armor, is it supposed to be tougher than whatever the Army and Marines get since they usually get the modern stuff?

As anyone can tell who has watched the News, gone shopping, or given your paycheck a long, hard stare, you must have realized we are going through a recession which will make the holidays slightly depressing. Which was why I was faced with a conundrum when I thought about what I should put on my Christmas list. I have a choice between two consoles, each having a purpose that I would really like to utilize. The first is a new PC that is gaming compatible. I really need a new laptop seeing as my current one is over five years old this Christmas and will no longer allow me to play any Sims or PC games. So of course I almost went on a rampage when my computer crashed three days after installing The Sims Three. For now my computer is only good for writing, and even that purpose is slowly withering away. I can no longer access Google or Bing for any websites that I could publish on or any blue prints of a certain appliance that I need. So along with my intense want to finally experience the Sims as it was meant to be, controlling a creatures movements in a matter of seconds, disregarding if there half way across town. You may think that this would make me put this on my list and forget about any other systems, but your dead wrong. After the Wii nintendo came out, I have been missing that feeling of pride whenever I save the princess or get pass the dungeon. The Wii only focuses on the psychical part of video gaming, and in my world those two words should not be in the same sentence unless describing the players character in the game, or telling how said gamer does not get enough psychical activity, no offense to any gamers that might find this offensive, as I’m sure some of you aren’t like the stereo-typical gamer of yesterday. Well, back to the topic at hand, I wish to own a X-Box 360, that in my opinion would spark back my interest in gaming that was killed after receiving my Rock Band Set during Christmas of 2008. The X-box 360 allows the player to connect with friends around the world, or even across the street, allows you to play with anyone the owns the same game as you such as Left 4 Dead, that makes a point in it’s game play to work with others. Other uses that I find fascinating is the option to by video games solely from your 360, walking not included along with storage, not counting memory for 360 of course. You can see why I am having a difficult time choosing between these two, seeing as laptops are starting to become more mandatory in schools, and if I get a new one this year, by the time I graduate from high school, I will be equipped with a newer version as soon as the one provided during Christmas 2009 dies. Yet on the other hand, I want to experience gaming on a whole other level, and getting tired of the Wii. Then there is the second issue at hand, my birthday which follows closely after Christmas. thirty-four days to be exact. So I have four options, option A: go with the PC, option B: go with the X-box 360, and option C: ask for laptop for Christmas, and ask for X-Box 360 for my birthday, and option D: ask for an X-Box 360 for Christmas and a PC for my birthday.

Please give me your input on what option I should go with and why you think so. If you think I should go with either D or C, tell me why you think I would be able to get one more likely in December then in January. Thank you for any help you may provide.
I’m not a spoiled child, I’m thinking in more techinical terms. If I have a laptop, my school word involving computer wise class will be efficent and quality work, while if I have a X-Box 360 that has quite a lot of gaming oppurtunities than I would stay off the streets where I could come in contact with violence or drugs.

We saw in July the mass shooter James Holmes opened fire on to a theater crowd, killing 12 people and wounding 58. Before the shootings, he was reported to have visited three different psychiatrists and was doing poorly in his academics. He failed a written comprehensive exam but he had a chance to retake it. A few days prior to his oral exam he filled up papers to formally withdraw from the university. His pre-PhD record, in contrast, was very impressive: He graduated with highest honors in neuroscience with a GPA of 3.95 and was believed to be the very best according to his recommended.

We see almost the same profile with Adam Lanza. He is described in many articles as “shy, highly intelligent and introverted.” At the age of 16 he enrolled in college before leaving with a GPA of 3.26 (B+ average). However, he had problems at home. His parents divorced when he was 17 and he was withdrawing from his classes often.

The previous owners of the house I just moved into removed their laundry machine and along with the laundry receptacle box. They have 10 guage armored cable that is on a 30 amp double pole where the breaker is turned off (black electrical tape over the breaker) and they have wire nuts on the other end of the bx which is exposed with all three cables (black/red/white) having single wire nuts on them.

I have removed the 4 prong dryer outlet from my old house that I now need to hook up to the bx.

I am planning on installing a double gang metal (extra deep) box with tapcons onto cinder block.
    (1) How high off the ground (In basement) should I mount my double gang box onto the cinder wall? Normal tapcons ok for this?

    (2) When I secure the bx cable to the double gang box (with bushing / connector), do I need a ground pigtail connecting the box to the ground terminal on the outlet? If so what guage does this pigtail need to be (12? 10?)

    3) To make sure I connected the BX cable properly to the double gang box, if I check for continuity with multimeter between exterior metal sheath on bx cable and double gang box will this verify the ground is properly in place?

    Thanks

What do you call pieces of armor that cover the stomach, waist, crotch, top of thighs, and so forth around that area? But not so far as to be exclusively leg armor.
As either general terms or specific names of particular armor pieces.

If I were to have a computer, any internet centered classes that I will be taking will help me accomplish work at home, efficiently and make it quality work. Im writing a Sci-fi story in my spare time and I wanted to know how much the armor in the title would weigh. The suit that the character wears is full body and contains an integrated strength multiplying exoskeleton, there are depleted uranium plates covering the chest, stomach, crotch region, back, and shoulder blades forearms , shins and boots as well as a ballistic neck guard. The plates range in thickness from 2 inches thick on the vital areas ( chest, back, shoulder blades, crotch) while less vital areas contain a plate that is 1 inch thick ( neck guard, shins, forearms) Taking into account the load bearing exoskeleton Id like to know how much weight all this armor would put on him in addition to his weapons and gear backpack ( about 120lbs total) Id also like to know if depleted uranium would provide any more protection then a ceramic plate or a thin steel/alloy plate. Infantry weapons in my story are railguns (small projectile about the size of a ball bearing launched at hyper sonic speeds the plasma sheath around the weapon deals the damage) so they use high heat and high kinetic force. any and all information is appreciated.

Would the bullet travel straight through the body, therefore doing less damage, as opposed to a NATO round which would tumble in the target? Or am I mistaken?

I’ve just never liked them and felt they didn’t represent the game as best and realistic as I’d have made it. If not, is there a way to replace the in game clothes and armors through modding for myself? I’d probably make a mess of it, but it would be worth a try to get myself started modding. I’m looking for a more Game of Thrones kind of feel when it comes to the look and tone. Like they’re actually trying to fight the cold of Skyrim, not running around in topless fur ensembles.

As you may know, suits of armor are incredibly expensive especially if they are wearable.

I notice there are many different suits with different gauges of steel.

I want the armor to absolutely be as strong as possible, I want to be able to hit it with the claw of a hammer and have the armor be untouched.

Also, no one tell me I am a spoiled child for thinking about choosing C or D. I am only thinking in technical terms. If I were to have a computer, any internet centered classes that I will be taking will help me accomplish work at home, efficiently and make it quality work. While I will also have a X-box 360 that has a gaming experience, that will keep me on for hours, which will keep me off the streets, away from violence and drugs.

Well, I’ve basically done the main story, companions & college of winterhold guilds, got the best light/heavy armor in the game, and i cant find any more stuff to do. Dungeon crawling is a little boring since its the same recycled 10 or so layouts, and i don’t want to go on murderous rampages that may end up in me being a fugitive.

Hi I’m not really that good with computers but I’m thinking about getting seperate parts for a new gaming computer. If i have some parts that won’t work or not compatible with the motherboard or whatever just lend me some ideas so that i can build a nice officent computer, and one that is quiet and uses less heat. the reason why i want powerful specs is because i want to play World of warcraft on 60fps no matter what or just make it run smooth almost all the time. here are the parts:

My little brother plays dungeon rampage, he’s quite young and he has already exceeded any of my characters levels. He purchased the sorcerer and is already a level 10. He claimed he purchased it with coins-which he had to considering there is no way he could have bought it with gems. So, I get on, and I try to purchase this Sorcerer, but I can’t. I don’t have access to gems either, so, I tried to buy him with coins but It said I could only purchase the sorcerer with gems… this dosen’t make any sense.

IF YOU’RE A VETERAN AND HAVE PLAYED EXTENSIVELY:

    # What have you played before?
    paladin and warlock

    # How far did you level it?
    paladin 85 warlock 70

    # What did you like/dislike about it?
paladin likes – fun to level and very good in pvp dislikes – not good dps
warlock likes – very very fun class to play and awesome in higher lvl pvps dislikes – not good dps in dungeons till mid-higher lvls

    # Will you be leveling through instances or mostly questing?
    half and half

    # With a friend or alone? What’s your friend going to be leveling?
    alone most likely

    # Are you leveling via PvE (questing, killing mobs) or through the new PvP way (battlegrounds)? also half and half

    # Will you be doing primarily raids/dungeons at level cap (PvE) or knocking the opposing faction in the balls over a flag (PvP)? pve

    # Will you be multiboxing or just playing a single character?
    playing a single character

    # Race preference? Either for looks or the actual racials (or lore!).
i like undead alot but orcs are cool too

    # Heals/tank/DPS? What’s your style for DPS – melee or ranged?
dps – i like both ranged and melee

    # Hybrid or pure? Does it matter?
    doesnt matter

    # Pet or temporary pet or none at all? Does it matter?
    also doesnt matter

    # Will you be AoE leveling (usually with a partner)?
    probably not

Like bullet proof vests, body armor, and metal plating you can wear. I was told a rifled slug could pierce almost all body armor. Is this true?

Is there anyone who can give me some insight as to what types of shotgun ammo can penetrate what types of body armor?

I need to know this for a test at a boot camp I go to and I don’t wanna fail it.

    Thanks.

i hadnt killed any citizens so i couldnt have killed the shopkeepers.
one of the glitches fixed itself though.it was the khaljiit caravan outside of whiterun.the tents were there but none of the khaljiit were there.i waited for night and they were all there but their tents were gone.still glitchy but it works for me.
the one i am worried about is belathor.ive waited a few days for his shop to open, but its always closed.i even broke in to check if he was in there but all there was was the helper telling me to get out.i looked in the dungeons and other houses but he is no where to be found.

    please help!

I’m painting lots of characters and stuff on my wall as like a big sort of arrangment of retro arcade games.

I’ve got the characters from Pacman and Space Invaders. What other old classic arcade games are there?

    Skyrim
And… A few more. I just don’t remember their names since they aren’t on the shelf.

Xbox 360 Games(I don’t have many, I only had my xbox for about a week. Lol)
    Mass Effect
    Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City
    The Darkness
    Call Of Duty 3
    Ridge Racer 6
    Stuntman ignition
    Prince of Persia
    Assassins Creed
    Xbox Arcade or something.

    The Sims 3
    Madagascar Escape 2 Africa
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
Some game that has a bunch of mini games in it… I don’t remember the name. It’s not on the shelf.

I also have Sega, Gamecube, PS Vita, Gameboy Advance, Ps2, Xbox, Nintendo DS/3ds/DSi xl, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and such but all the games are packed save for a few and I don’t want to type much more. I have too many games — I know. I hardly played half of them, and I only finished a handful. I just have a bad habit of buying more and more games.

So what games do you have for your systems?
I have Mass Effect 1, just for the xbox rather than ps3.

Alright. So I recently started playing Skyrim (Xbox 360, not PC) and quite honestly, I need help. I feel like I’m progressing quite slowly, despite trying my best. Honestly, I’m rather n00bish to it. I’ve watched my friends play and such, but I only just started a while back. If you could lend me some tips and/or answer my questions, I’d greatly appreciate it.

First, here’s some background so you can get a good idea of where I’m at. I’m Khajiit, and I’m focusing on destruction magic (perk wise), archery (Fenindel(? the wood elf) is my companion, and I use him to gain experience for free essentially), and 2 handed combat (fall-back weapon, I think its a steel greatsword). I think my sneak level is quite high as well. I’m somewhere in the level 11-14 range. As far as the main quest line goes, my next “goal” is to sneak into an embassy and find some evidence (or something, I forget). I’m not progressing as of now because of my low level. (I can’t check these currently, I’m in college, and the only chances I get to play are when I go home for the weekend.)

    1. How can I make more money?
I’m doing side quests right now, and I’m about to join the dark brotherhood to try and get assassination rewards. I have an amulet that boost my “speech” ability when selling things, but I’m getting far from full price currently. I’m trying really freaking hard to save up and buy a house. Which leads to:

    2. Where is the best house?
I have the ability to buy a house in Whiterun, but my friend had a significantly larger house somewhere else. I think it was in Riften perhaps? It had a lower level with dumies you could put your armor on. I know they get more expensive per area, is it best to just start with Whiterun so I have somewhere to unload my items?

    3. How can I raise my Smithing ability quickly?
I reeeeaaaally want the dragon armor (light, I’m thinking) but I believe that my smithing ability is dismally low. What can I do to make it better?

    4. I don’t understand the “play-styles.” Are there actually benefits to choosing a “style?”
(I know this page: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Skyrim:Playstyles but is it a real “thing?”) As far a style goes, I’m trying to be an overall “good” person within Skyrim. Helping people, not going on rampages, and such- but also kind of operating on a shadier note, like assassination and the like, but nothing too serious I suppose. I’ll probably join the Imperials, the Stormcloaks seem like racist jerks. (Because I’m playing as a Khajiit, haha)

    5. Marriage?
I have the Amulet of Mara. I’d like to get married to someone who will benefit me. (Shallow, no?)
    (I know this list, btw: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Marriage#Male_NPCs )
Are there certain benefits to certain npcs? Also, no Khajiit? Thats rather stupid.

    6. Followers? (plural?)
I know the Delphine and Esbern trick, I haven’t done that yet though. Also, I’ve heard you can get dogs, but I haven’t read anything on that. Is that a good idea? If so, how do I get one?

Also, dear person, if you have any general tips, I’m more than likely to read them.

Thank you for reading that wall of text, and if applicable, your help! :)
misprint: “… general tips, I’m more than HAPPY to read them.”
