I am playing ikariam and I have 6,000 something points but I want to go faster. I need some current hacks and cheats that work for this part of 2011. I would like something that gives me as many resources that I want, that or gold. Or something to make research faster. Thanks, no viruses either!

So on Ikariam, this game world, I tried to log in. It wouldn’t let me, saying that my password was wrong! so I tried to send a new one to my email, but it said they didn’t recognize my email. So I tried going on my email and checking the email that they sent me. The password I made was the one I was trying to use the whole time! So I tried to activate the account with the link that they sent me. It said “No player could be found with this data.” I am dead scared. I worked so hard on my town and stuff! I think someone hacked into my account and deleted my player. THIS IS TERRIBLE! Please help, if you think you know the problem!

My XPS M2010 crashed after trying to upgrade from Windows Vista 32 bit to W-7 64 bit. There were serious compatibility issues that I wasn’t aware of.
I have software programs with all of my work on the HD and am wondering how to retrieve them since some are limited to how many downloads you are allowed and there are several associated files in different areas of the HD that I worry about missing and wondered if the program automatically gathers all associated files or am I on my own with that? I would also like to get my photos and documents from the old HD preferribly transferred to disc or usb flash drive.
I have a new system coming that is up to date on everything and is a W-8 professional 64 bit so I don’t want any part of the system of the old computer. Litterally I just want my design software, photos and documents and don’t want any more issues like with my old computer. Hope I didn’t confuse anyone as much as I confused myself.

I have a game whose minimum requirements are a Windows 95/98/2000/ME. However, my computer runs on Windows 7. Is there any way I can fix the compatibility issue? I’ve tried a few things but to no avail.

I’ve got a custom built pc running vista, but i’m having compatibility issues between vista and itunes.
What alternatives are there to itunes software to get music etc on my ipod nano, which are the best and should any be avoided?
this is not software to download new music, just an alternative way of getting the music i have on to my ipod.
    Also
I already know what the issues are between itunes and vista, many other vista users have them too – nothing to do with latest versions, updates or hardware issues.

I have made several Powerpoint presentations on a Windows-based computer. I want to buy a Mac Book Pro but have concerns about compatibility issues. If I install PowerPoint for Mac, will there be problems editing files made from the Windows-based version? Also, can files made on PowerPoint for Mac be used and edited on non-Mac computers?

I think it’s time for me to buy a new laptop. My Windows Me laptop simply can’t handle modern programs, software, et cetera.

I’m interested in buying a Macbook, although I’m worried about the compatibility issues that I would have if I got an Apple instead of a PC laptop.

Most of my time is spent sending: (.jpg) pictures, (Word) documents, so on so forth.

What basic compatibility issues should I expect?

Like I play a game called Ikariam, it’s fun, I go on it almost every couple hours. I also use google reader a lot, I love that. Just some things that are very fun, maybe have a lot of users, a good community, or just generally a cool website.

I use a desktop G-Mail counter to notify me when I receive new e-mails. It was working fine until yesterday when I checked it and I had to enter my G-Mail password every single time I wanted to read my e-mail. upon investigation, I have found that there is a compatibility issue with the new Firefox update 3.5 but I can’t seem to find out how to correct the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I currently own a Medeli DD502 eletric drum kit. After 3 years of usage my Snare pad and my hi-hat cymbal both broke down and my kick pad is going bad. I need to reorder new ones. I wanted to know if perhaps I can put a different type of snare(since mine is single zone hit), like one that has dual zone to allow me to hit the mid. of the snare and the rim. After checking with the company of my model there is no Dual zone snare available. So is it possible to put a different modeled dual zone snare on my model? Will I have compatibility issues? I also want to put a different and bigger kick pad on my medeli so I can play Double bass. Will I have issue’s with that too? Please let me know soon!

I’ve always owned PC/Windows-based laptops. Everybody is telling me that Macs are more stable and faster.

I need my laptop for work and home purposes. In particular I will need to use the Mac version of Office. Will this create compatibility issues between my mac-created office documents and people trying to read this documents on PCs?

I newly installed Age of Empires III on my computer and everything installed successfully.
Unfortunately, when I try to run the game, it says that it cannot be launched due to compatibility issues.
I’ve found out that you can change compatibility mode by right clicking the desktop shortcut, go to properties, compatibility tab, and run with a different compatibility mode.
But it doesn’t have Windows vista home premium though i have updated the OS.
Is there anything I did wrong?
Should I try out anything else??

I bought this game off of amazon, and never got it to work. My computer has windows 7. I do have a laptop too. It’s older, and has older software, so the game works on it, but it’s hard to play with just a touch pad. When I try to play rise & fall on my windows 7 computer it says, star force protection isn’t letting me use the game due to compatibility issues. I tried compatibility mode and it did nothing. The internet hasn’t helped me so far either. Please help!!!

I see when some people post their computer builds on forums, they have 2 graphics card. 1 Main graphics card, and another cheaper, less powerful one just for PhysX?

Does that mean the second graphics card is used just to process Physics? What is it used for, can it be used for games? Are there any compatibility issues with games? Also are there any special hardware required, or just an SLI compatible motherboard?

    Thanks.

I’m about to go compute-shopping, and I was just wondering why many college students choose Macs for college instead of PCs. It seems that PCs are cheaper overall and have much fewer compatibility issues with applications. So why do Macs seem to be the preferred choice?
I’m actually doing Computer Engineering, would I prefer a PC for that, or a Mac with a Unix base code?

Many old programs and games require a lot of work to function properly on newer OS. System Shock 2, for example, required shitloads of extra software to work on vista and 7.

I want to buy a new laptop, but I’m also an avid retro gamer, and I’d really rather not have even more issues with this than I’m having now. So, does Windows 8 have more compatibility issues with old software than windows 7 or are they somewhat similar on this issue?

What would happen if I were to switch the processors. Would the Compaq still function and operate properly? From a gaming laptop? What about from a desktop PC?

I currently run Windows 7 Home Premium on my gaming laptop (ASUS G53SW) and I’m thinking of installing Windows 7 Professional. Do I need to check for potential compatibility issues between hardware (GPU, motherboard, processor, etc…) and OS?

What if I’m planning to build a PC? Will it matter what hardware I choose to use with particular OS?

I know that the newer cameras from Nikon such as my D5000 have compatibility issues with older lenses cause it doesn’t have an internal focus. Thanks.
