I called Norton and it is true. Actually they said:

Norton: Mike, even we are investigating this claim about a Java hack. As far as Java Microsystems is concerned, their last update indicates that this is just a claim from a hacker with a dubious background. However, just to be sure that you are protected, we advice to disable Java or always run live updates and do a scan.

    Mike: ok .. thanks.

Norton: Still, prevention is better than cure. Norton: I suggest to turn off Java for at least a week for your browser. Make sure thought that you have installed the standalone version of Java so that you can still play facebook games or other games requiring Java.

What are some online stores that sell The Wild Ones and Famous clothing? Preferably the same site, and they HAVE to be able to ship to Canada.

I am looking at breeding snakes in the future, and was wondering how I’d get a licence to catch wild ones to breed. Like I’d go to the states or wherever and catch them and bring them back to Canada. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

As the title asks. I am aware that some people in America have domesticated raccoons as household pets. How does one get into a situation like that?

Where do you get a raccoon in the first place? I’m assuming that nobody just went outside and picked up a wild one, because of the disease and rabies that they carry.

I would love to have a bunny, but there aren’t really any wild ones, and i don’t want to buy one from a shop! are there adoption places/shelters that have other animals besides cats and dogs?! anyway what are the basics to caring for one anyway? does it need a cage or pen? need to go outside? Special food? Etc….? =D Thanks

I am not interested in ostrich farm birds, only the wild ones. Do you know if they lay only one egg per year? Or many?

I know that with garden onions you pull on them and if they come up easy they are ready, but I was wondering if it is the same for wild ones? When the tops begin to wilt, is that a sign? Also should you leave some to grow back next year? I know that with garden onions you pull on them and if they come up easy they are ready, but I was wondering if it is the same for wild ones? There are 2 wild rats running around our house, at least 2 that we have seen. We caught the female the other night and put her in a tank, while giving her water she escaped. We know where they are hanging out and discovered there are 2 as of today. My dad’s girlfriend doesn’t want to kill them and we refuse to use poison as we have several dogs in our home and 2 snakes that are loose. The snakes have taken care of any mice we have had but are too small to eat the rats. I have 4 pet rats for breeding and I think the smell of them is what made these wild ones feel safe within our home. I am trying to figure out a way to catch them before they escape back into the wall from under our kitchen sink, silverware/storage drawers. They are young & healthy, and we don’t want them to cause any more damage to the walls or to chew through any wires, they also like to antagonize my dog by running under my wood floors in my room and scratching and squeaking by the heat vent…not only would the humans appreciate them being caught but my dog would as well..he stays up all night whining and growling at them and trying to dig through the floor to catch them.. any ideas??

I am thinking about getting a green anole. I heard that however, most of them are caught wild ones which mean they may be sick or have parasites etc. What are signs of these that I can look for? Also, where can I get a bred anole instead of a wild caught one?

I live in Texas and these non-native non-endangered Mediterranean Geckos have made havoc for me and my friends. One of them got in the wiring of my house and started a small fire that almost burnt down my house. A friend of mines two year old daughter was playing with one (not a pet, a wild one) that was in her house and she put it in her mouth the parents after realizing what happened removed the gecko, afterwards she got salmonella and was hospitalized for over a week … she nearly died.

I know people love these animals, but just like squirrels, rats, and snakes these animals are a pest for homeowners. On yahoo answers so far all I have heard is how beneficial these lizards are for eating bugs; however they are small and only eat a few bugs a day, and I can kill more bugs with pesticides. I am not going sit idly by while these pest destroying my house and endanger children. I need real help!

    Thanks in advance

Also, do grocery stores sell the same species? Or does that just vary? This was an asian grocery store in DFW area of TX. I’d like to know what type it is. It is reddish brownish (yeah, most are) about 2-3”… Also a bit aggressive. The wild ones are really pale tan and very shy.

I like the hooded rat. If I use newspaper for bedding the ink could come off on the rat so a white rat is not good. Grey rats could be a problem as I may pick up one of the wild ones running all over my house by mistake and put it in the cage. I plan to get two does and let them have a run around the house for about one hour per day. Will they make friends with the wild ones or do they not get on together?

I know that these are constantly mentioned procedures on the Animal Planet rescue shows but wild ones live without any such care. Even the feral horses of the American west get along without these procedures even though they are descended from domestic stock.

Just curious. There is this one girl that has been dating my friend. My buddy he is a wild one. He loves to drink and party. She grew up in a very strict family with a strict mother and she doesn’t drink that much. He basically uses her to blow him and thats it. Will this relationship last? He tells me she is a good lay.

I just read an article about lions saving a girl from being beaten by a group of men and it has reignited my love for animals and made me feel like I’m making a huge mistake by taking a liberal arts course in college come September. This very well just be a temporary wave of feeling so passionate about animals, but still, what are some jobs that involve being with animals (particularly wild ones)? Thanks for the help!

I love meat so I can’t stop eating it so I need to find a healthier way to eat it. Lol diamond, I should be shot too? Funny. Try looking up the benefits of killing your own meat. These are domestic rabbits, not wild ones. The mother died when the babies were 10 days old. They are now 14 days old, and I am feeding them formula. I just don’t know how often to feed them, or how much they should be taking per feeding. Any input would be helpful! Thanks!

A primate research station attaches a tiny radio transmitter to a chimpanzee born in captivity before releasing it into the wild. One day, the station picks up a signal indicating the chimp is 3950 m from the station in a direction 15° S of W. Over the next day, the chimp wanders 2500 m in a direction 33° N of E. At this point, how far from the station and in what direction is the chimp?

I was out near Dogskin Mountain in BLM land last Friday night and heard a small group of wild horses running flat out through the desert. They were headed to the spring fed troughs I was near. These horses were really running fast at night.

That got me to thinking that if I wanted a real “sure footed” horse, a 2 or 3 year old from the BLM could be the best bet.

Has anyone here had any experience with these wild ones?

I need a good quantity of rat snakes to let go in my yard. I live near Cleveland Ohio, and in a dead spot when talking about snakes (never seen a wild one in my life in this area ), but there is plenty of food for them here. They just got to survive the winter.

So does anyone know anywhere that I can get them?

It is well known that I love animals, especially wild ones. In a few months I’m planning on getting a pair of sugar gliders. Although I’ve never owned one, I’ve done tons of research on the little guys and am well aware of how much work they are. I’m at home most of the time, and can’t wait to spend tons of time bonding with these little guys so that I can be close with them and take them places with me without them being scared. Since you really need to have atleast 2 so they don’t get lonely, I want to know which gender you guys think is best. I’m buying them when they are going to be around 10 weeks old, and I’ve read that when they are that young it doesn’t matter which genders you get because they will be so young that they get along. But recently I heard that males are more difficult to bond with than females. I know I want one boy, but when it comes to things like smell are boys really more smelly than girls? Little things like that. Let me know what you guys’s preferences are.

It seems like the price market for foods is somewhat manipulated, after all anyone with a garden could grow hundreds of pounds of hop shoots, and yet they are charging a thousand euros per pound of it. Is it only the wild ones that are appreciated? And what about ‘gourmet’ mushrooms? Can people just get a log, some spores and grow their own? I realize some people – like me – live in apartment complexes and don’t have gardens, but I don’t get why some of these prices are so high. Aren’t they artificially inflated?

Okay, so, I’m being super paranoid here, but I was shutting down my computer and it said the usual “Windows cannot be shut down because the following programs are still running” (or something along the lines of), and my webcam came up, but I never opened my webcam… or activated it (if that is even required, I wouldn’t know) EVER. Suspicious activity throughout the rest of the day was my cursor freezing (however I could still click, but just not move it), freezing and slowing down of the computer, random disconnections from the internet (as in me having to even put in the security code again…) and my sound just blacking out for no reason. It’s a fairly new computer so I passed these those off as being issues with the computer (and internet), and it is most likely that is what it is, but I did visit some websites that has pop-up adds and I suppose it’s possible other dodgy issues… I also downloaded the official Windows Movie Maker Live from windows . microsoft . com (I can only imagine this is the official website) and also a file from Mediafire which has a lot of pop up adds.
